SUMMARY:
The purpose of this item is for the Implementing Committee to receive a report on the 2023 EAHCP Net Disturbance and Incidental Take from Kristina Tolman, Senior HCP Coordinator. A report on the estimated amount of Net Disturbance and Incidental Take of the Covered Species is required each year and is included in the EAHCP Annual Report to USFWS. “Take”, as defined by the Endangered Species Act, means to harass, harm, pursue or kill any threatened or endangered species. The Incidental Take Permit authorizes the permittees to “take” species while conducting the Covered Activities of the EAHCP.
