SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the Permits/Enforcement Committee to receive a report from EAA staff regarding various Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone (EARZ) protection programs as they are outlined in Chapter 713 (Water Quality), Subchapters F (Regulated Substance Registration, Storage and Planning) and G (Aboveground and Underground Storage tanks) of the EAA’s rules. Matters to be discussed include the scope of regulated activities on the EARZ and the applicable areas of the contributing zone.
EAA staff will discuss these programs and provide a general review of 2023 program activities.
