RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the board adopt Resolution and Order No. 04-24-087 of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving the renewal of Contract No. 24-018-AMS between the EAA and Eurofins Environmental Testing South Central, LLC, for analytical laboratory services in the amount not to exceed $230,000 for the period May 31, 2024, through May 31, 2025.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider a Research & Technology Committee recommendation to renew and amend Contract No. 24-018-AMS between the EAA and Eurofins Environmental Testing South Central, LLC, for analytical laboratory services. Originally adopted on June 14, 2024, this contract renewal is the first of four possible renewal option periods for the contract. The contract renewal term is for the period of May 31, 2024, through May 31, 2025.
The original contract is attached to this agenda item for the board's reference. Also attached is Resolution and Order No. 04-24-087, which has been reviewed by legal counsel.
At the meeting on March 26, the Research & Technology Committee voted to recommend the board adopt a resolution and order of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving the renewal of Contract No. 24-018-AMS between the EAA and Eurofins Environmental Testing South Central, LLC, for analytical laboratory services in the amount not to exceed $230,000 for the period May 31, 2024, through May 31, 2025.
