RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the board approve amending the 2022 EAA Operating Budget by transferring $60,000 from the Elections Professional Technical Services account to the Authority Operations Property Services account for facilities maintenance.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider a Finance/Administrative Committee recommendation to amend the 2022 EAA Operating Budget by transferring $60,000 to the Authority Operations Property Services account for facilities maintenance.
The shortfall in the facilities maintenance budget line item relates to unanticipated repairs to the EAA's properties and various increases in contractor costs for general and routine repairs. The transfer of funds is anticipated to cover additional repair needs through the end of the calendar year.
Attached to this summary is a worksheet summarizing the proposed amendment discussed above. The transfer of funds between accounts has no net fiscal impact.
At the meeting on August 23, the Finance/Administrative Committee voted to approve the recommended motion above.
