RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the board adopt Resolution and Order No.12-21-014 of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving a two-year renewal of Contract No. 19-967-EXE between the Edwards Aquifer Authority and Carriage House Partners, LTD., for legislative consultant services in an amount not to exceed $300,000, for the period January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2023.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider an Executive Committee recommendation to approve a resolution and order of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving a renewal and extension of the contract between the EAA and Carriage House Partners, LTD., for legislative consultant services in an amount not to exceed $300,000 for the period January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2023.
Following a competitive procurement process in 2019, the EAA awarded a contract for legislative consultant services to Carriage House Partners, effective January 1, 2020, with options to renew and extend for up to two two-year terms. This first renewal is for the period January 1, 2022, through December 30, 2022.
Attached to this summary is Contract No. 19-967-EXE, and Resolution and Order No. 12-21-014, which have been reviewed by legal counsel.
At the meeting on December 7, the Executive Committee voted to recommend the board adopt a resolution and order of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving a two-year renewal of Contract No. 19-967-EXE between the Edwards Aquifer Authority and Carriage House Partners, LTD., for legislative consultant services in an amount not to exceed $300,000, for the period January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2023.
