RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the board adopt Resolution and Order No. 11-20-986 of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving a one-year renewal and extension of Contract No. 17-869-AM between the EAA and Eurofins Xenco, LLC, for analytical laboratory services, in an amount not to exceed $210,000, for the period January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2021.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider an Executive Committee recommendation to renew a contract with Eurofins Xenco, LLC, for analytical laboratory services, in an amount not to exceed $210,000. Following completion of a request for proposal and review process, EAA awarded a contract for laboratory analytical services to TestAmerica Laboratories, Inc., for 2018 with EAA options to renew and extend for up to four years. Since the second contract renewal approved by the board in 2019, TestAmerica has become Eurofins Xenco, LLC. This third renewal is for the period January 1, 2021, through December 30, 2021. Attached is the draft renewal letter and Resolution and Order No. 11-20-986 which have been reviewed by legal counsel.
At the November 3 meeting, the Executive Committee voted to recommend the board adopt a resolution and order of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving a one-year renewal and extension of Contract No. 17-869-AM between the EAA and Eurofins Xenco, LLC, for analytical laboratory services, in an amount not to exceed $210,000, for the period January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2021.
