RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the board adopt Resolution and Order No. 11-20-985 of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving Purchase Order No. 20-17972 between the EAA and SHI Government Solutions for the purchase of disaster recovery hardware and related technology in an amount of $46,921.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider a Finance/Administrative Committee recommendation to adopt a resolution and order of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving Purchase Order No. 20-17972 between the EAA and SHI Government Solutions for the purchase of disaster recovery hardware and related technology in an amount of $46,921. This purchase will augment the data storage and disaster recovery efforts by the EAA in the event its databases are corrupted due to natural disaster, or data breach.
In 2020, the EAA entered into 12 purchase orders with SHI Government Solutions for computer hardware, non-capital equipment, training, and hardware/software support services that support the technology needs of the EAA. The combined value of these purchase orders total $93,599.29 and is summarized below.
