SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the Executive Committee to receive a status report from the General Manager on the initiative identified as “Edwards Aquifer Authority/Edwards Aquifer Conservancy: The Next Generation.” Under this initiative, the EAA and EAC would undertake a leadership role of managing and operating a mission-wide conservation program for the purpose of aquifer protection and enhancement. The General Manager will also report on the status of the City of San Antonio's Edwards Aquifer Protection Program. General Manager Roland Ruiz will discuss recent activities and next steps.
