Consider recommendation from the Executive Committee to approve corrections to the Final Order Adopting Rules approved by the Board of Directors on December 10, 2019, which adopted amendments to Chapters 702, 707, 709, 711, 713, 715, and 717 of the EAA's rules.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the board adopt Resolution and Order No. 01-20-960 of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors adopting corrections to Resolution and Order No. 12-19-957.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider an Executive Committee recommendation to adopt a resolution and order approving corrections to Resolution and Order No. 12-19-957, the Final Order Adopting Rules for Chapters 702, 707, 709, 711, 713, 715, and 717 of the EAA's rules. The corrections are necessary to: (1) correct a typographical error; (2) to remove a redundancy; (3) to more clearly dileneate red-lined changes in specific sections of Exhibit C of the Order; and (4) to add amendments to Chapter 707.622-625. While incorporated into the Proposed Rules, the amendments to Chapter 707, Subchapter E, Sections 707.622 - 707.625 were inadvertantly left out of the final order during the transmittal of documents between staff and counsel.
At the January 7 meeting, the Executive Committee voted to recommend the board adopt a resolution and Order of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors adopting corrections to Resolution and Order No. 12-19-957.
EAA staff and general counsel will explain the necessary corrections and answer any related questions at the January 14 board meeting.
