RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the board adopt Resolution and Order No. 12-19-956 of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving Contract No. 19-967-EXE between the Edwards Aquifer Authority and Carriage House Partners, LTD., for legislative consultant services in an amount not to exceed $300,000, for the period January 1, 2020, through December 31, 2021, and authorizing the General Manager to executive the contract.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider an Executive Committee recommendation to approve a resolution and order of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving a contract between the EAA and Carriage House Partners, LTD., for legislative consultant services in an amount not to exceed $300,000 for the period January 1, 2019, through December 31, 2021, and authorizing the General Manager to execute the contract.
At the November 12 meeting, the board directed the Chairman to negotiate a contract with Carriage House Partners, LTD for board consideration. The contract includes provisions for Carriage House Partners, LTD to provide legislative consultant services, with the option to renew for two additional two-year periods. A copy of the draft contract and associated resolution and order are attached for the Committee's reference.
