RECOMMENDED MOTION:

Move the board adopt Resolution and Order No. 11-19-950 of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving a one-year renewal and extension of Contract No. 17-869-AM between the EAA and TestAmerica Laboratories Inc., for analytical laboratory services, in an amount not to exceed $210,000, for the period January 1, 2020, through December 31, 2020.


SUMMARY:

The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider a Research & Technology Committee recommendation to renew a contract with TestAmerica, for analytical laboratory services, in an amount not to exceed $210,000. Following completion of a request for proposal and review process, EAA awarded a contract for laboratory analytical services to TestAmerica Laboratories Inc., for 2018 with EAA options to renew and extend for up to four (4) years. This second renewal is for the period January 1, 2020, through December 30, 2020. Attached is the draft renewal letter and Resolution and Order No. 11-191-950, which have been reviewed by legal counsel.

At the October 22 meeting, the Research & Technology Committee voted to recommend the board adopt a resolution and order of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving a one-year renewal and extension of Contract No. 17-869-AM between the EAA and TestAmerica Laboratories Inc., for analytical laboratory services, in an amount not to exceed $210,000, for the period January 1, 2020, through December 31, 2020.
