SUMMARY:

 

The purpose of this technical briefing is for the board to receive a report from EAA staff on concepts relating to soil health, riparian importance, and best management practices that can be beneficial to the future of sustaining a healthy Edwards Aquifer system.  Further understanding of these concepts is an example of how EAA staff are following the theme of Imagination, Innovation, and Inclusion as we look to the future of a recharge restoration initiative and the EAA's role in the near and long-term future to achieving a sustainable Edwards Aquifer.  Mr. Thomas Marsalia, Aquifer Protection Supervisor, will present this report.
