RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the Implementing Committee approve the City of San Marcos 2020 Funding Application and amendments to the 2020 Work Plan.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the Implementing Committee to approve the City of San Marcos EAHCP 2020 Funding Application. Details of the Conservation Measures funded by the 2020 application are described in the 2020 City of San Marcos Work Plan.
Amendments to the 2020 Work Plan reflect a more detailed description of activities to perform Control of Non-native Plant Species (EAHCP § 5.3.8) and the current status of Impervious Cover and Water Quality Protection (EAHCP § 5.7.6).
The City of San Marcos 2020 Funding Application and Work Plan are attached.
The City of San Marcos 2020 Funding Application meets the obligations of Article Six of the Funding and Management Agreement.
The amendments to the City of San Marcos 2020 Work Plan meet the obligations of Article Four of the Funding and Management Agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total fiscal impact of this item is $571,000, which is included in the City of San Marcos 2020 Work Plan. This amount is $45,000 less than the original Annualized Implementation Costs as described in Table 7.1 of the EAHCP.
