RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the Implementing Committee approve EAHCP Resolution No. 05-19-001.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the Implementing Committee to approve EAHCP Resolution No. 05-19-001 regarding the Science Review Panel’s determinations pursuant to Funding and Management Agreement (FMA) § 7.13.7. As described in FMA § 7.13.7, the Implementing Committee will take action based on the Science Review Panel’s determinations on the likelihood of the Biological Objectives achieving the Biological Goals and the effectiveness of the Conservation Measures meeting the Biological Objectives. The details of these findings and determinations are provided in the Review of the Edwards Aquifer Habitat Conservation Plan: Report 3, submitted by the National Academy of Sciences (contracted to serve as the Science Review Panel).
EAHCP Resolution No. 05-19-001 validates and confirms the transition from Phase I to Phase II of the EAHCP and is consistent with the guidelines set forth in the Strategic Adaptive Management Process (FMA § 7.14).
This Resolution No. 05-19-001 meets the obligations of FMA § 7.13.7.
