RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the board adopt Resolution and Order No. 11-18-914 of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors renewing and extending Contract No. 17-869-AM between the EAA and TestAmerica Laboratories Inc., for laboratory analytical services, in an amount not to exceed $210,000 for the period January 1, 2019, through December 30, 2019.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider a recommendation from the Research & Technology Committee to renew a contract with Test America, for analytical laboratory services, in an amount not to exceed $210,000. Following completion of a request for proposal and review process, EAA awarded a contract for laboratory analytical services to TestAmerica Laboratories Inc. for 2018, with EAA options to renew and extend for up to four (4) years. This is the first renewal year. Attached is the draft renewal letter and Resolution and Order No. 11-18-914, which have been reviewed by legal counsel.
At the October 23 meeting, the Research & Technology Committee voted to recommend the board adopt a resolution and order of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors renewing and extending Contract No. 17-869-AM between the EAA and TestAmerica Laboratories Inc., for laboratory analytical services, in an amount not to exceed $210,000 for the period January 1, 2019, through December 30, 2019.
