SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the Research & Technology Committee to receive a report from EAA staff introducing a series of reports designed to discuss the different programs and initiatives for which the EAA’s Aquifer Management Services (AMS) Division is responsible. This initial introduction provides a general overview of programs, their respective goals, and the relationship between different program areas within the AMS and the EAA. More detailed discussions of individual program areas will follow in subsequent months to provide the committee a better understanding of current and historical staff research and data collection and future goals regarding how these efforts contribute to understanding, protecting, and managing the aquifer.
