STAFF RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the Executive Committee approve the draft agenda for the January 9, 2018, technical briefing.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the Executive Committee to consider approval of a draft agenda for the January 9, 2018 technical briefing, if necessary. The technical briefing will consist of a presentation from EAA staff on the incorporation of the EAA's water quality protection rules into the City of San Antonio's Edwards Aquifer Protection Program.
Attached is the draft agenda for the technical briefing. This agenda is subject to change by the Executive Committee.
Staff proposes that the board eliminate the stand-alone Technical Briefing by scheduling such reports on the regular board agenda. The topic described above has been included as a board report on the January 9 draft board agenda considered by the committee earlier on this agenda. If the committee approves of staff's proposal and approves the regular board agenda as proposed, this item is unnecessary.
