SUMMARY:

 

The purpose of this item is for the board to receive a report on the EAA’s recent revisions to the MODFLOW model.  Jim Winterle, Director of Modeling and Data Management, will discuss the revisions to the model and provide a comparison of differences in model output between the revised and original MODFLOW.  Comparative analyses for the original and revised models include calibration targets and the bottom up analyses used to determine conservation measures in the Edwards Aquifer Habitat Conservation Plan.  The briefing will also include a short discussion of how the revised model was vetted through validation runs, calibration efforts, and peer reviews from regional experts.
