RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the board approve an amendment to the 2017 EAA Operating Budget, increasing the appropriation for the purchase and installation of perimeter fencing and security gates for the EAA main office facility, in the amount of $134,600.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider a Finance/Administrative Committee recommendation to approve an amendment to the 2017 EAA Operating Budget. This amendment, which is depicted on the attached fund summary, would increase the 2017 appropriation for capital expenses by $134,600.
Earlier on this agenda, the board considered approval of a contract with Gonzalez Maintenance Construction for the purchase and installation of perimeter fencing and security gates for the EAA main office facility. This budget amendment is necessary to fund this contract should the board vote to approve this contract.
At the September 26 meeting, the Finance/Administrative Committee voted to recommend the board approve an amendment to the 2017 EAA Operating Budget, increasing the appropriation for the purchase and installation of perimeter fencing and security gates for the EAA main office facility, in the amount of $134,600.
