RECOMMENDED MOTION:
The board may make the following motions:
Move the board appoint Ms. Deborah Baker Carington to fill the unexpired term for the vacant Director - District 6 position on the EAA Board of Directors.
Move the board appoint Ms. Kathleen Tobin Krueger to fill the unexpired term for the vacant Director - District 8 position on the EAA Board of Directors.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to interview, select and appoint candidates to fill the unexpired terms for Director - District 6 and Director - District 8 on the EAA Board of Directors. These positions were declared vacant earlier on this agenda.
Attached to this item are applications and associated information submitted by Ms. Deborah Baker Carington for the District 6 vacancy, and by Ms. Kathleen Tobin Krueger for the District 8 vacancy. At the August 8 meeting, these candidates will be asked to introduce themselves and provide a brief statement regarding their candidacy, after which the board may interview the candidates and vote on their potential appointments to the board.
