MOTION:
The board may make the following motion:
Move the board accept the resignation of Director Craig Massouh and declare the vacancy of Edwards Aquifer Authority Director District 8 in Comal County.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to accept the resignation of Director Craig Massouh and declare the vacancy of EAA Director District 8 in Comal County. Director Massouh submitted a letter of resignation to Chairman Luana Buckner on July 26, 2017. A copy of this letter is attached to this summary. The resignation became final and effective on August 3, 2017, and by operation of law, the position of District 8 became vacant.
Following this formal acceptance of Director Massouh's resignation and declaration of the District 8 vacancy, the board may interview and consider appointing a candidate later on this agenda.
