SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the Aquifer Management Planning Committee to receive the third in a series of briefings from EAA staff on the EAA Recharge Program. This briefing will focus on alternative aquifer strategies, other than enhanced recharge and critical period management, to optimize the beneficial use of the Aquifer. The presentation will include both water quantity and water quality strategies with staff recommendations for the program's future.
These committee briefings are designed to provide an overview of the EAA's Enhanced Recharge Program and will help inform the board in advance of a more formal policy recommendation later in 2017.
