SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the Research & Technology Committee to receive a report from EAA staff on the results of an inter-departmental collaborative effort to develop a three-dimensional layer model of the Edwards Aquifer. This model represents an interpretation of available borehole, seismic and hydrologic data, aeromagnetic surveys, and geologic mapping to produce a three-dimensional visual representation of the Edwards Aquifer and its overlying and underlying units. The model is designed to be easily updated or extended as new data become available.
