SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the Aquifer Management Planning Committee to receive the second in a series of briefings from EAA staff in efforts to reconceptualize and optimize the EAA Recharge Program. This briefing will focus on updating recharge enhancement feasibility studies to current estimated project costs and capacities. The presentation will include a summary of project development issues and sponsorship responsibilities.
This briefing follows the March 28 AMP briefing, which provided an overview of the EAA's role in region-wide water planning. These briefings are being conducted to inform the board in advance of a more formal policy recommendation later in 2017.
