Move the board approve the EAA's legislative priorities for the 85th Session of the Texas Legislature.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider an Executive Committee recommendation to approve EAA legislative priorities for the 85th Session of the Texas Legislature. The specific priorities maintain a defensive posture for the 2017 legislative session. A copy of the recommended legislative priorities is attached to this summary.
At the October 3 meeting, the Executive Committee voted to recommend the board approve priorities for the EAA's legislative program for the 85th Session of the Texas Legislature.
