RECOMMENDED MOTION:
The board may adopt certain policy and practices regarding the open and/or concealed carry of weapons during EAA public meetings.
SUMMARY:
At the August EAA board work session, EAA General Counsel briefed the board in closed session regarding state law associated with open and concealed carry of weapons at the EAA offices and public meetings. The board directed the Finance/Administrative Committee to consider this issue and make a possible recommendation to the full board.
As a quorum of the Finance/Administrative Committee was not present at the September 27 meeting, this item is coming to the board without a committee recommendation.
