RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the board approve the following ranked order listing of the three interviewed offerers:
1. Padgett Stratemann
2. Weaver
3. ABIP
Move the board select Padgett Stratemann & Co. LLP, as the most qualified offeror, and authorize the General Manager to negotiate a contract with Padgett Stratemann to conduct the EAA's fiscal year 2016 audit, with an option to renew for two additional years.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider a Finance/Administrative Committee recommendation to approve a ranked order listing of three offerors interviewed by the committee at their August 23 meeting, and authorize the General Manager to negotiate a contract with the top ranked offeror to conduct the EAA's fiscal year 2016 audit, with an option to renew for two additional years.
EAA staff issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and Statements of Interest for Audit Services that was advertised in the following print and electronic publications:

· Electronic Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL) - Monday, June 20, through Sunday, July 10, 2016
Additionally, EAA staff sent RFQ packets to 19 potential firms. Of those firms, 16 were M/WBEs.
