SUMMARY:
Since the first work session in 1997, the EAA board has met annually in an informal setting over a weekend to discuss and provide staff direction on topics of strategic interest, and to enhance communication and understanding between directors and executive staff. The 2016 work session will focus on matters associated with the EAA’s strategic goals.
Posted as an open meeting, the weekend work session consists of a number of EAA staff presentations. Although the board will not take any formal action on any agenda item, the board will be asked to provide general direction to staff on a number of these matters. A timed agenda is attached to this summary.
Dr. Richard Lewis, Round Top Consulting, will facilitate the board's discussion and will also facilitate team building activities with EAA directors and key staff throughout the weekend work session.
