STAFF RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the board approve the presented key priorities related to renewal efforts of the Edwards Aquifer Habitat Conservation Plan and associated Incidental Take Permit.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider a staff recommendation regarding key priorities related to on-going efforts to achieve a long-term renewal of the Edwards Aquifer Habitat Conservation Plan. Recommended priorities are related to efforts in scientific research, conservation measures, and a commitment to achieving a cost efficient, long-term permit to protect the Edwards Aquifer and all that rely on it. A copy of the proposed priorities will be shared with the board prior to the meeting and staff will discuss the priorities at the meeting.
