SUMMARY:
The purpose of this item is for the Stakeholder Committee to receive a report from Kristina Tolman, Senior HCP Coordinator, on the preliminary interactive 360-degree virtual tour of the San Marcos Springs System created by EarthViews and Nodeology. EAHCP contracted Courtney Gallagher, CEO of EarthViews (also known as FishViews), to collect georeferenced 360-degree videos of above and below water habitat in the San Marcos Springs System, from Spring Lake to Cummings Dam. Anthony Grescavage and Clark Selby of Nodeology used their custom software for mapping 360-degree videos to create an interactive virtual map tour of the springs system. This preliminary interactive, above and below water virtual map tour will be finalized and released in spring 2026.
