STAFF RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the board adopt a resolution and order of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving the renewal of Contract No. 23-018-AMS between the EAA and Eurofins Environmental Testing South Central LLC, for analytical laboratory services in the amount not to exceed $230,000, for the period May 31, 2026 through May 31, 2027.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for board to consider a Research & Technology Committee recommendation to renew Contract No. 23-018-AMS between the EAA and Eurofins Environmental Testing South Central LLC, for analytical laboratory services.
Originally adopted on June 14, 2023, this contract renewal is the third of four renewal option periods of the contract. The contract renewal term is for the period of May 31, 2026 through May 31, 2027.
Eurofins Environmental Testing South Central LLC is utilized as the primary analytical laboratory for EAA Aquifer Science Research water quality samples collected from springs, rivers, and wells across the Aquifer system. The laboratory can analyze samples for a broad range of general water quality parameters including major and minor cation and anions, as well as a full suite of other analytes of concern.

Eurofins Environmental Testing South Central LLC is not an M/WBE vendor.

FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this contract will not exceed $230,000 during the contract term. The proposed budgeted amount for each contract year will be set annually.
