Body

RECOMMENDED MOTION:

Move the Implementing Committee approve amendments to the 2025 City of New Braunfels Work Plan and Funding Application.

SUMMARY:

The purpose of this agenda item is for the Implementing Committee to approve amendments to the 2025 City of New Braunfels Funding Application to support the EAHCP Conservation Measures detailed in the amended 2025 Work Plan.

The amendments to the 2025 Work Plan include a budget revision to the Impervious Cover/Water Quality/LID (EAHCP § 5.7.6) Conservation Measure. The timeline for construction has been delayed to 2026 due to a required floodplain study. This revision would decrease the total EAHCP § 5.7.6 budget by $378,830, bringing the total appropriation for 2025 from $436,230 to $57,400 for the Impervious Cover/Water Quality/LID Conservation Measure. These funds will be used towards a floodplain study and construction administration services for FY2025.

The amendments to the attached 2025 City of New Braunfels Work Plan and Funding Application meet the obligations of Article Four of the Funding and Management Agreement.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This amendment will decrease the 2025 City of New Braunfels EAHCP Funding Application and Work Plan by $378,830, bringing the total appropriation for 2025 to $531,549.
