RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the Implementing Committee approve amendments to the 2025 Edwards Aquifer Authority Work Plan and Funding Application.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the Implementing Committee to approve amendments to the 2025 Edwards Aquifer Authority EAHCP Funding Application to support the EAHCP Conservation Measures detailed in the amended 2025 Work Plan.
The amendments to the 2025 Work Plan include revisions to the program activities and research efforts for the Refugia (EAHCP § 5.1.1) and Applied Research (EAHCP § 6.3.4) Conservation Measures as well as a budget revision to the Program Management Conservation Measure. This budget revision is an increase of $50,000, bringing the total appropriation for 2025 to $2,111,508 for the Program Management Conservation Measure. These funds will be used towards additional programmatic costs for FY2025.
The amendments to the attached 2025 Edwards Aquifer Authority Work Plan and Funding Application meet the obligations of Article Four of the Funding and Management Agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment will increase the 2025 Edwards Aquifer Authority EAHCP Funding Application and Work Plan by $50,000, bringing the total appropriation for 2025 to $19,132,642.
