RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move the board adopt Resolution and Order No. ___ of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors approving an amendment to the Edwards Aquifer Habitat Conservation Plan FY2026 Funding Application for the Edwards Aquifer Authority increasing the funding request from $1,440,632 to $1,472,632 and amending the 2026 EAA Operating Budget accordingly.
SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the board to consider a Finance/Administrative Committee recommendation to approve an amendment to the Edwards Aquifer Habitat Conservation Plan (EAHCP) FY2026 Funding Application for the Edwards Aquifer Authority to increase the Program Administration Conservation Measure by $32,000 as well as the associated increase to the 2026 EAA Operating Budget Habitat Conservation Plan Fund appropriation for Professional Technical Services for the total amount of this proposed amendment.
On November 12, 2025, the EAA board approved the initial Funding Application for FY2026 for the Edwards Aquifer Authority. The budget amount presented in the original Funding Application represented the costs contained in the original Work Plan. The revised Funding Application includes the budget increase of the Program Administration Conservation Measure. The total amount that would be added to the FY2026 Funding Application is $32,000.
Attached to this summary is a red-lined version of the amended Funding Application and proposed EAA operating budget amendment. A draft Resolution and Order, which has been reviewed by legal counsel, is also attached.
