SUMMARY:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the Research & Technology Committee to receive a report from EAA staff regarding a proposed research contract with Texas A&M AgriLife Research for understanding the link between land management and recharge of the Edwards Aquifer. This proposed contract is currently under review by both parties; however, staff would like to take the opportunity to brief the committee on the major details of the proposed contract to help expedite the review process. If review of the contract is timely completed, staff may request to add the proposed contract as an action item at the next regular meeting of the EAA Board of Directors.
